This is the light that hangs in my room. This light is also connected to a fan. The light that is on the fan is very bright. The reason for this is because there is a lot of voltage flowing through the light which causes the light to be so bright through the lightbulb. The way that my light and fan are connected are through a parallel circuit. The reason for this is so both the light and the fan can both function to their highest potential while on. In a parallel circuit the full amount of energy is given to whatever is using the battery and since it is in a parallel, both get the full amount of energy and can take their full potential.

Electric Billl
My parents complain about the electric bill being too high all the time. They always complain about saving energy in the house to lower their electric bill so that they dont have to pay as much money as they do currently on their electric bill. Due to their complaining, I have challenged my parents that I can lower their electric bill by twenty dollars after only one month of chaning the way I do things in the house. I will use the big appliances less like the fridge, washer, and dryer less because those things drain the most energy because they use excess cooling or heating which uses a lot of energy.

Battery Train
This is a battery from my earphones. The batteries are set in a way in which they are faced opposite ways next to each other. The reason for this is because batteries produce the charge that keeps the earphones running at the speed at which they run. Both is these batteries are a 1.5 volt battery and there are two of them so together they create a 3 volt charge to the earphones. The reason why they are faced opposite ways like this is because the charges are like water; they flow. Charge, like water flows from an area of high potential to an area of low potential. The batteries need to flow, so that is why the batteries are in this formation. This formation in which the batteries are formed in is called a series.
