I got this egg from my refrigerator. It looks all shiny and nice, I want to eat it. The reason why I have a picture with this egg is because it has to do with my egg drop project that I did with Jenai. We had a first design of a pyramid sort of thing made out of cardboard in which the egg would go on the top and we would put cushion and weight on the bottom so that the device would land standing up, but we depleted that idea. The way that we made our egg drop project is that we took a shoe box for our outer protection and frame. Next, we put a bag of coins in it so that it would be weighted down and land flat on its bottom and not be affected by wind on its descent down. We put cotton and a air bead pillow over the coins to prevent the egg and coins from hitting each other. Finally, we wrapped the egg in a sock for extra protection.

This is my boxing glove. It is not an ordinary boxing glove though, it is a Captain America boxing glove with a huge mass that comes along with it! If I were to swing a punch at someone while I had these boxing gloves on, it would do some serious damage to the person that is getting hit. The reason for this is because the more mass that an object has, the greater momentum it has, increasing the impact of the punch. If I were to punch someone with a regular glove, it would not hurt as much because it does not weigh as much as the awesome Captain America glove. Also, if the person I was punching was going with the direction of my punch, it would not inflict as much damage because going with the punch will increase the time of impact and the more time an impact has the less force that it has.

My awesome 4 wheel sports car hit my wooden semi-truck and the two of them collided. Luckily the two vehicles had no damage on them. The semi-truck was at rest while the sports car was traveling at a high speed toward the semi-truck. When the two vehicles collided, the sports car stopped and transferred the momentum to the semi-truck, pushing the semi truck forward. The two trucks should be going at around the same velocity because the momentum in equals the momentum out, or Pin = Pout. If the two were heading at each other at the same velocity, two would bounce off of each other and travel backwards in the opposite direction.

Momentum
This is my toy car that I rolled across my floor. The unit that we are now starting for our physics class is on momentum. I think that momentum is the force of the mass and velocity that something is going. For example, if someone was driving their car at 120 miles per hour and then tried to stop instantaneously, it would not happen because the car would have too much momentum. The car would have too much mass going at a high velocity, therefore making it impossible for the car to stop instantaneously. The formula for momentum is "Momentum = mass x velocity"
