Slow down buddy boy

This here is a Speed Limit Sign. The speed limit for my street is 20 mph. (mph) is short for "miles per hour". The reason why this has to do with our unit is because we are talking about speed, and miles per hour has to do with the speed of an object. Speed is defined as the total distance traveled per unit of time. The reason why they call it "miles per hour" is because it is the number of miles an object can travel in one hour. Speed has has to deal with this unit because it is related to distance, vectors, and scalars. Mph is a measurement to show you the distance that can be traveled in miles for every hour. Speed also deals with vectors and scalars because it deals with direction and magnitude. Speed is important because it is used in everyday life. 

Blogpost #1 (About Unit)

Here we have a ruler. This ruler has to do with what were doing because it has to do with measurements, and measurements are a part of the system of units. A ruler is one foot long. Each foot has twelve inches.  Three feet equal one yard. So, a yard would have thirty six inches total. I happen to be sixty six and a half inches, which is five feet and six and a half inches. I think that its weird that we use the foot while almost the entire rest of the world uses the meter. But hey, thats just me. The foot is still a pretty good standard of measurement though. 

Blogpost #1

My name is Kā'eo Paik, and I am currently a senior at Kamehameha. I love to play soccer and it is my favorite sport. I play for outside leagues as well as for school. My favorite color is blue. I have three older siblings, all of which are girls. I am an uncle of 6 children soon to be 7. Freshman year, I took physical science at another school and I did excellent getting an A. I didn't take science sophomore year but I took biology my junior year, and I did a little bit above an average job in that class. I Got an average of a B in that class. Now I am currently taking chemistry. The math course that I am currently in is discrete math. In completing this course, I am hoping to learn some of the many laws of physics to strengthen my scientific knowledge. I am also hoping to get an A in this class. 

The story behind my picture is simple. First off, as you know from above, I love to play soccer. It is my life and my passion. This picture also describes me because I like to dream big. Just as the title of this movie, I dream, and hope to make my dreams become a reality and become someone that is very successful in the world when I become older. This is also one of my favorite movies.
