Shocking Socks

Many people know of the old trick where you have socks on while standing on a carpet and you shuffle your feet back and forth to create an electrical charge throughout your body and then by touching the other person you transfer the electrical charge to the other person therefore shocking them. Although this trick is really cool, it does not work in Hawaii. The reason why it does not work is because in Hawaii, we are surrounded by water and therefore the air is too moist to create and electrical charge that can be transferred to another person with the old socks trick. It would be really cool if it would work in Hawaii though.
